David Dimitrov studied computer science in the Netherlands, then decided to return and build his career in Bulgaria. David programs the backend systems of NulaBG and aims to achieve more direct integrations with the electronic services of Bulgaria’s National Agencies.
I graduated from the vocational high school of tourism ‘Asen Zlatarov’ in Varna. After high school, I decided to try something different. A friend told me about ICT Fontys University in the Netherlands. I decided to apply and was accepted. The university provided me with the knowledge needed to work as a backend developer at NulaBG.
I love experimenting with new endeavors. I started and successfully completed a German language course. I have a lifeguard certificate and for fun, I took a bartending course, which allows me to entertain my friends.
I left Bulgaria because I wanted to be independent, embark on an adventure with people of different nationalities, immerse myself in another culture, and gain the necessary qualifications to become a successful software engineer.
I never managed to feel at home in the Netherlands, somewhere I could live for the rest of my life. I received my education and decided to give Bulgaria a chance for work, and it did not disappoint me. Life in Bulgaria is wonderful, the nature and the people are also great. I enjoy living and working here.
I have a passion for high speeds because of the adrenaline they provide. In my free time, I have fun with my friends, and we visit nice establishments and beautiful places in Bulgaria.
During my time working for NulaBG, I learned that teamwork is important for improvement. It’s crucial for the people you work with to be ready to help you and teach you new things, which we achieve at NulaBG. I applied much of my university knowledge in practice. Additionally, I learned to program in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and many others.
Bulgaria would be a better place to live if unemployment were reduced and incomes increased.
